Amber Quinoa is the quinoa variety Prairie Quinoa is introducing to Canadians. It is blonde, or amber, in colour and has a distinct and full flavour.
Cooking Amber Quinoa like you would rice; with the water absorbed, will produce a distinct flavour.
Cooking Amber Quinoa like one would cook pasta; draining excess water when the desired tenderness is reached, produces a lighter colour and more subtle, but still distinct taste!
Amber Quinoa can also be prepared in a rice steamer; your choice to compliment your culinary tastes!
